Simple way to prepare pan-fried mackerel with tomato sauce spaghetti

Pan-fried Mackerel with Tomato Sauce Spaghetti

Pan - fried mackerel fillets into tomato sauce for a quick dinner. If you’re not a fan of mackerel, try this recipe with prawns! 

Ingredients

200g spaghetti

295g spaghetti tomato sauce

Cherry tomatoes, halved or quartered

Mushroom - cut into small slices.

Garlic 4-5 cloves

1 teaspoon of parmesan cheese powder

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1⁄4 tsp salt and pepper

2 x mackerel fillets

METHOD

  • Heat the oil in a large fry pan over medium heat. Cook the mackerel fillet, skin side down, until the skin is crispy, about 3- 5 minutes. Flip the fish over and continue frying until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  • Heat the oil in the pan, garlic in until goldish following mushroom about 2 min. Add the cooked pasta and tomato sauce, stir and mix well. Add in cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Add some parmesan cheese and don’t forget the fresh mackerel fillet before serve.
