Confinement is a period for your body to recuperate and recover from childbirth. Many Asian confinement beliefs and practices originate from culture. The different cultures' confinement periods last for different durations: 30 days for the Chinese, 44 days for the Malays and 40 days for Indians.

HOW MUCH FISH SHOULD YOU EAT?

The FDA offered a recommendation on the minimum intake of seafood pregnant women should aim for. It said that pregnant women, breastfeeding moms and young kids should be eating eight to 12 ounces of a variety of fish each week.
